BEESTON PLAYING FIELD & VILLAGE HALL

November 2019

We’d love you to help! Beeston Village Hall and Playing Field

What wonderful assets our village hall and playing field are to Beeston! In the summer, swallows skim low over the freshly cut grass, young families delight in their children on the play area, footballs are kicked about, cricket matches are won and lost, and people of all ages flock to the fetes, parties and barbeques enjoying food, drink and music late into the night. In the winter the village hall carries on its function of bringing people together for all sorts of social activities, classes, societies and fund-raising. It’s such a flexible, welcoming venue and we are so glad it is used and appreciated so much.

The committee would love some more people in the village to step forward and lend a hand helping this all to work. Perhaps you might be able to answer emails; help with the accounts; put on your rubber gloves and join the cleaning volunteers; help with maintenance jobs inside and out; or take part in our many fun fund-raising activities. We’re a small group – all with other jobs and family commitments – who are very proud of our village hall and playing field and what it brings to our community. Please join us! You’ll be helping a very special, and important, part of Beeston.
