Good Neighbours

BEESTON ‘GOOD NEIGHBOURS’ CLUB

January 2021

I hope you have all had a good Christmas, despite the restrictions and maybe by the time you are reading this, some of you will, hopefully, have had a vaccine.  Certainly there is light at the end of the Covid tunnel now.

I try to be optimist and plan for us to be able to meet, but in December we still could not meet for a lunch.  I am reluctant to set a date for January at the moment, but I will organise something as soon as we are able.

Happy New Year.

Take care, Yvonne Ball, 01328 701465

December 2020

Things are changing so quickly at the moment, due to the pandemic, so my November entry was out of date before you received your magazine! The Seniors’ Lunches were obviously no longer possible as the Ploughshare had to close its doors.

I am hopeful that we may be able to hold a Christmas Lunch Club on Wednesday 16th December, but obviously we will be dependent on the restrictions on groups meeting at that time.  If you would like to come along please give me a call.

I wish you all a very happy and safe Christmas and best wishes for the New Year, let us hope for a more normal 2021

Take care, Yvonne Ball – 01328 701465

BEESTON “GOOD NEIGHBOURS” CLUB

Hello to everyone who attends the coffee morning, lunch club and afternoon tea, I hope you are all keeping safe and well.   Obviously, there will be no events until further notice, let’s hope this won’t be too long. I am missing you all, although as I walk around the village or to The Ploughshare Shop, I see some of you and it is lovely to have a chat. On the subject of The Ploughshare Shop; Natalie has done a brilliant job supplying the village with provisions and some wonderful fresh fruit and vegetables.   If you haven’t visited yet I suggest you do, save yourself a trip into town or the anxiety of trying to get an on-line shop.

Thank you, Natalie

We are really very lucky to live where we do in such a lovely, quiet part of Norfolk and let’s hope we can all stay safe and see this through.

Take care, Yvonne Ball
